Problem of Unemployment in India

If we want to understand in very simple words, then unemployment is directly related to lack of work or employment. Or it can be said that when the proportion of the population of a country is less than the employment opportunities present there, the problem of unemployment arises at that place. Apart from this, children, elderly, crippled, old age or saint also do not fall under the unemployment category. There is a deep connection between population growth and ...

Different Facets of impact on Jobs and Economy by Pandemic

The impact of pandemic across the globe and spectrum of life will take few years to explore and analyze. Few define it, as a recession 2.0 and few relate it with the century old plague, but it has more dimensions to it and still all are stumped and try to analyze the way we know. It requires different scales/tapes which were not even thought before and will take years to come to make. First and foremost it has slowed the wheel of economy with a big thrust. The power and scale of this pause was never seen or expected. It just not lead to the loss of jobs, but also impacted the sole income of families with no other options to survive due to strictness of lockdown. Also, most of the migrant families which run on day to day income and without any options to reach their villages/towns were left on mercy of neighbors/government which was next to impossible due to lack of infrastructure and high corruptions. The need of social security was felt at its extreme as it could have provide...

EMPOWERING FARMERS: A STEP TOWARDS PROSPEROUS INDIA

India is a predominantly agriculture backed country where more than 50% of people come from agricultural occupation. After independence, many agricultural reforms such as the abolition of the Zamindari Act, Agriculture Insuranceschemes , and Agriculture farm produce market rationalizations have reduced the burden on farmers. Green revolution and fertilizer subsidy are some of the remarkable achievements of all time governance. But at the same time, an increase in farmer's suicide, massive debt on farmers due to the loss of crop as a reason for climate fury has raised financial crunch. This raises a question on agricultural governance. No doubt, the government has taken many farm reforms, but an increase in cases of suicide by farmers raises the question of sustainable policies relating to agriculture. The government initiative to double the income of farmers is a welcome step, but what about the issue of farmers' suicide, agricultural debt, and exploitation of farmers by th...

Things we can change in Indian Education System

“Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Lives Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid” – Sir Einstein   Quit Focusing On Marks  Not all things are about numbers. Instead of focusing on what scores the learner is scoring the emphasis should be on how much the learner has understood the topics taught and how he/she would practically implement the same.    Course readings And Nothing Else?  Apart from just pressuring the learner to go through the stipulated contents of the curriculum, efforts should also be made by the educators to add an extra mile by delivering the content in different ways like case based studies, presentations, role plays mock interviews etc will all this enhance the learner’s imagination and practical skills.   Educators  A n educator plays a very significant role in the learner’s life. Educators are often said to be ‘second moms’ as they shape lives and ethics.    Se...
