National Register of Citizens (NRC)

The National Register of Citizens (NRC) is a register containing names of all certifiable Indian residents. It was first arranged in 1951.The 1951 NRC list has been refreshed for Assam, which has had a longstanding outsider issue, to expel out illicit vagrants and spare further inflow. The refreshing procedure of NRC began in the year 2013 under the severe checking and supervision of the Supreme Court of India.
