A project has been prepared by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to index the genome of India's young students under a project. The purpose of this project is to educate the next generation of students about the usefulness of genomics . According to molecular biology, genes are genetic substances, through which the properties of organisms reach from one generation to another. The sequence of all genes present in the DNA of any organism is called genome. There are approximately 80,000-1,00,000 genes in the human genome. The genomic study is called genomics. The genome project is a scientific project, whose goal is to find out the whole genome sequence of a creature. With the participation of the US Department of Energy (USDE) and the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Human Genome Project started in 1988. It was officially launched in 1990.
