Project Planning and Scheduling Tool

This is an ICT era , where workforce, engineers, managers and even the entrepreneurs can’t even think of preparing their day-to-day reports. People working in the product life cycle can’t function efficiently unless they are fully accustomed with some of the IT tools. An explanation as to how the IT tools can help document complete information about a project including its schedule, utilization of resources, keep track of the timeline, budget and even the workload for the ongoing project. Most commonly tools are the MS Project and SmartDraw. Project Plan and Scheduling are the two very basic and important function of a project development. The main purpose of both is to complete the project in time. The difference is that the  project plan serves as the master blueprint whereas the scheduling deals with breaking the plan into smaller steps and deals defining target dates, assigning each member of the team specific tasks to be completed at certain time period.  Figure 1 Proj
