  Internet and technology have become an inevitable part of our lives and therefore ubiquitous. This article is centred on Over Top (OTT) platforms that permit visual entertainment through the usage of the web. The present trend intent on the utilization of OTT platforms for which the quantity of users increases exponentially in our country. A sudden surge has been recorded in its growth, thanks to the pandemic which made it a necessity to keep ourselves occupied and entertained remotely and keeps our mental health enacted. But this concept has been misinterpreted by some of the content creators as they are using this mode to create disharmony and chaos amongst the public intentionally or unintentionally.
