  Meaning of Delinquency ·          Delinquency is aggression: Bandura and Walters are of the view that delinquency is the manifestation of frustrated needs of the child which lead him to behave aggressively. ·          Delinquency is crime under age: According to New Meyer, a delinquent person under age who is guilty of anti-social act and whose misconduct is an infraction of the law. ·          Delinquency is Functional Psychiatric Disorder: The fundamental intrapsychic pathology is attributed to faulty relations between parents and children in the early years of life, some of which are manifested in the form of anti-social behaviour.
