Right to Privacy in Digital Age

  Privacy itself is as previous as human culture; but, it had been not invariably a wrongfully protected right. Why privacy is therefore important? There is also abundant reason however in my opinion its importance lies actually that privacy incorporates a terribly shut reference to human dignity, freedom and independence of the individual. Today is that the age of data technology. The main focus of country is on agenda – ‘Digital India’. New media in the form of a double edged sword.

  The new media of the new era seems to be changing its form day by day. Since the independence of India till date, the media has taken itself towards a lot of change. In the year 2047, the country is completing 10 decades of independence. But due to technology media got freedom a decade ago and it has adopted its new form in the form of social media. As of 2021 Data, there are 53 crore users of WhatsApp, 41 crore users of Facebook, 1.75 crore users of Twitter and 21 crore users of Instagram.
