CYBERCRIME IN INDIA

INTRODUCTION The internet, like every other technology in history, had its benefits and drawbacks. The founding fathers had no idea that their product would one day be utilised to injure and destroy someone. Various harmful things are occurring in cyberspace today. "Every activity and reaction that takes place in cyberspace has legal and cyber legal implications." The term "cyberlaw" refers to legal matters that arise in cyberspace. It is a synthesis of many laws designed to address and overcome the concerns and challenges that humanity faces on the internet every day.Because cybercrime is still an emerging topic, there is currently no comprehensive law in place to address it anywhere in the world. However, the Government of India has the Information Technology Act, 2000 in place to govern dangerous online actions that infringe an internet user's rights. Mandatory Mediation

Effectiveness of the Indian judicial system is being criticised time and again for the number of pending litigations. Though techniques of alternative dispute resolution have played a great role in reducing the burden of the courts, the Indian judiciary is still facing the issue of huge pendency of cases. The technique of mediation has been accepted to be a potential factor for resolving disputes outside the court with least cost and time. Despite its numerous benefits Indian judicial system has somewhat failed to effectively realise its success at mediation. Existing framework does not make pre mediation a compulsory practice to be followed by parties. In India litigating parties are not comfortable in using the process of mediation as they think mediation is not the method which can effectively punish the wrongdoer. Parties are more willing to take opposite party to the court to make their life more problematic. Litigation is more effective for punishing the wrongdoer. When client

Are you demanding impossible?

INTRODUCTION The demand for Uniform Civil Code is engaging the attention of all sections of the society. There is a considerable misunderstanding in the minds of Muslim community regarding the actual scope and nature of reforms sought to be introduced through UCC. It is generally argued by the Muslim thinkers that Shariat law is divine law and interference with it is not permitted. They are indirectly suggesting that people demanding reforms through UCC want to meddle with the divine law, which may amount to an attempt to revolutionize the Muslim law and to re-write the holy Quran. So far as administration of Mahomedan Law in India is concerned, Mahomedan Law is applied by the courts in India to Mahomedans in some important matters only. Mahomedan laws are not applied in all cases. The rules of Mahomedan Law are applicable in three ways in India. Firstly, those rules which have been expressly directed by the Legislature to be applied to Mahomedans, such as rules of succession and inh

Choose ideals wisely

“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty. I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.”- Theodore Roosevelt So, who are your ideals? What do you see while choosing ideals? According to me ideals are those whose life inspires us, whose works motivates us a lot, whom we want to follow, and, on whose footsteps, we want to walk upon. My two concerns or major questions in this blog are: Who should be our ideals ideally? And are our ideals limited to only glamourize our social media? I don’t want to give any advice; I just want to emphasize on the vitality of choosing the right ideals or the right heroes of our lives. When does our journey of choosing an ideal start? I think it starts early from our childhood. When we start growing and understand the world then we find our ideals in our schools, colleges, on playgrounds. You would’ve often
