No one in India can forget 26/11. One of our leading hotels – The Taj was one of the eight places in Mumbai, which were attacked by terrorists. These attacks began on Wednesday, 26 November and lasted until Saturday, 29 November 2008, killing 164 people and wounding at least 308. In the Taj, 31 people died and 28 were hurt.  Yet, the guests still remember & appreciate the courage, dedication & sacrifice of the hotel staff that made the Taj stool tall as a pure symbol of supreme & wholehearted services. On November 26, 2008, many guests were present at Hotel Taj.   Around 9:30 pm, people inside the hotel heard sound similar to that of fireworks and thought that it was coming from nearby wedding. Privacy in Social Media is not an individual choice

In any case, keeping your information private isn't just about your own specific choices. It is also depend on your friend’s choice also. A study regarding the social media issues shows that the persons which are using social media may need to stop the concept that privacy of their information is in their own hands. Sharing of the contact on the social sites is safe by all the attacks. Professor David Garcia, a computational social scientist in Au...

WORKPLACE SPIRITUALITY IN INDIA

Nobody ever thought that Spirituality could get related to management. The two fields which were entirely different from each other today are seeking lot of recognition and it seems as if they are gelling pretty well with each other. One of a new dimension in management studies and research approaches is Workplace Spirituality which is still in evolving stage. It is not about religion or organized religious practices, not about god or theology. Modern authors consider it entirely different from religion.   To define Workplace Spirituality is itself a task, it being too subjective different authors have given different definitions to explain it. Karakas (2010) said that there are more than 2000 definitions of Workplace Spirituality and till now there is no consensus. The most accepted definition is that of Ashmos and Duchon (2003) who said Workplace Spirituality is about recognizing that people have an inner life that nourishes and is nourished by meaningful work in the contex...
