Role of a Teacher in creating an Inclusive Classroom

The teacher for teaching in an inclusive classroom must be aware of #R’s i.e., Rights, Roles and Responsibilities. Every child should be given equal opportunities to learn whether he is dull, bright, visually handicapped, orthopaedic handicapped, hearing impaired, delinquent, emotionally disturbed or otherwise deviant. The teacher should provide specialized instructions and support to the student who is in need without labelling him as disabled exceptional. Education of children with SEN (Special Education Needs) should be the responsibility of every teacher. Logical Positivism and Education

Logical Positivism is logical knowledge which is based on direct experience. It is also known as scientific empiricism. Bertrand Russell, Hume, C. W. Morris, Carnap, Whitehead , Wittgenstein were the prominent scientist / philosophers who propagated this philosophy. Main thought of the Philosophy Carnep is of the view that philosophical thoughts should be analysed logically by using scientific methods. Wittgenstein gave the idea that world is an essence of fact not an essence of any object. He criticized science by saying that science is not an organized form of names but an organized form of sentences. However, the main purpose of above philosophers was to prove the futility of metaphysics. They tried to give a scientific base to philosophy rejecting metaphysics. Social Mobility: Social Mobility refers to change in the social status of a person or a group in the context of others. It means the movement of an individual in a social structure. It is either vertical or horizontal. Horizontal mobility is the process of making changes in the same status level while vertical mobility is the process of changing from on status to another either to a higher or lower level. Factors affecting Social Mobility: ·          Structure of the Society: Societies may be of two types, closed societies and open societies.
