Health and Fitness=”SUCCESS”

 There is a saying “Healthy people make healthy nation”. Health and Fitness are like two sides of a coin. We must be fit to stay healthy. Health was earlier said to be the ability of the body functioning well. However, as time evolved the definition of health has also evolved. It cannot be stressed enough, as it is the primary thing. If you maintain good health and remain fit, everything else follows. Physical activity and exercise can improve your quality of life. Being physically active can help manage weight, strengthen bones and muscles, reduce the risk of diseases, improve your brain health and improve the ability to do your everyday activities. It also helps in improving the oxygen level and blood flow in the body. People are happier when they are healthy and fit. The kind of food a person eats can also be responsible for their level of fitness. Those who do not engage in physical activities and eat a lot of high glycaemic index food easily become a victim of obesity. So, the secret of good health is healthy lifestyle which involve taking good quality diet including all essential vitamins, minerals, protein and follow a strict discipline of exercise and diet. Having the right amount of fresh food at the right time is very important. Proper sleep is also very important for everyone to get fit and healthy. Taking six to eight hours of quality slumber every night reinforces our immune system and avails to enhance etheric energy and avoid cardiovascular diseases. Regular engagement in physical activities is the need of the hour. Regular exercise keep us fit. Yoga and meditation also helps in improving flexibility and relieving depression. The regular morning walk raises our level of mental peace. Nations are known by its people. Healthy people can only build healthy nation. So it is the duty and responsibility of every citizen to include physical exercise in daily routine. Good health also have other benefit as it brings inner happiness among individuals and family members and adds to quality of life. Efficiency of work is also impacted by health issues. Stress leads to poor wok efficiency and leading to more stress. It also impact the confidence level. Along with physical health, emotional fitness has also gained quite a lot of significance. In order to be successful and do better, the maintenance of physical and mental health is very necessary. Our fitness and wellbeing are respected more than our money. So, health and fitness are something that each person desires and both the things go side by side. We as students and faculties should remain fit both physically and mentally so as to achieve our goal 100%. Here at JIMS Engineering Management Technical campus, Greater Noida we encourage our students and faculty staff to remain fit by organising various activities, webinars, workshops and courses as well.
