Diminishing Ethical values among the youth
"The moral
values inherited during a being today creates a far better and stronger being
for tomorrow."
Due to rapidly changes occurring in society & global
changes the society is moving from transitional phase and this has greatly
affected the moral values among the youth .Its seem that moral values among
young age drastically vanishing. Youth
consider our indigenous culture and our traditions outdated &savage. They get fascinated towards many other bad habits at a very
young age example cigarette smoking etc. Youth in India is increasingly
inclined towards violence, social evils and lack of respect towards elders and
there teachers. Which is badly affecting
social harmony as well as national integration. Kidnapping, murdered, armed
robbery and drug abuse have become a serious matter in India today. They
indulge in all sorts of anti social behaviour injurious to the society. They embrace western culture in its totality; they have
give up our indigenous culture and
tradition entirely, thereby losing their identity. Moreover, creative mind of
youth are diverted towards unsocial activities
They try to take as a model the things
which they notice in the society and adopt the same.. In this age youth attracted towards trying, experimenting new
things, without knowing the repercussion of those deed in their future. Today’s
youth want to become wealthy in shorter span of time
and they want to gain all the materialistic things& things which fill their
life with pleasure so giving least consideration of human values.
Conclusion
Youth
are the back bone of a nation. Knowledge without moral values is not only
useless but is dangerous too for the society. Today’s our young generations are
in a great dilemma; they are facing enormous challenges. If we provide them
good education, and inculcate good values then only we can provide them a good
and a better future. Moral affordance of
youths required to be strengthened to create up an ethical and harmonious
society.
