Covid-19 Blessing in disguise for mother nature

Covid-19 lockdown is rejuvenating our mother nature With the lock-down in place nature its own time to heal itself without the interference of human beings. The best example that came into picture is that the smog has gone and has given its place to blue clear skies, water bodies are more clear and  clean and the marine life is finding its life back into it and the air pollution level has dropped down significantly as compared to all previous times by a huge extent.
Not long ago we all came across an incident of Noida’s busiest Sector-18 having an unexpected guest: Nilgai which was seen strolling leisurely on the road without the fear of any human intervention. Another similar incident happened in Kerala’s Kozhikode, very rare and endangered animal a Malabar civet, was spotted walking on the road.  Even in Varanasi the herd of Barasingha deer was seen walking fearlessly on the roads Ever Since the pandemic struck across the globe several such incidents have been reported where several such species of nature have found their ways back to places where humans used to keep the place crowded and are returning to their natural habitats.
Government is taking several measures to combat this deadly virus outbreak and the shutting down of factories, various commercial industries and movement of automobiles etc. has resulted in the drop of pollution levels across the world. With this temporary shutdown the people are also getting more time to breathe and spend some quality time with their family.
 It is observed that there is a considerable improvement in air quality and it seems that nature is scoring its win. The ozone layer which was constantly depleting is now on the self-repairing mode. Scientists and environmentalists believe if the unnecessary travel is discouraged and manufacturing units face closure the air quality may improve further.
