Learning Approach in Student Life

"Student", when we listen this word, the first thing comes to our mind is a learner having the scope of a bright future. A good student makes his path towards success, but there are so many challenges that a student has to face. It is well said that,the problem comes with its solution but we have to find it. To begin with Nursery class, student has to start with Alphabets and Numbers. This phase is beautiful, but still it has its own challenges. The first challenge for the child is to get out of the comfort zone of home and start a new life with school, teachers and friends.After completing schooling, students enter in the College life with new dreams in their eyes. The open surrounding of the college makes them happy as they were never before. Here, they learn not just the subjects but many things which will be a roadmap for their lifetime.

With the growing competition,the child needs to learn multiple skills and acquire knowledge, those who take this challenge positively and have enthusiasm to learn,mark their place on this earth. Many of them not just set examples for others but also motivate them.But for those who focus only on problems in places of solutions, do not achieve anything in life.To give it a try is our duty, but the result is not in our control. So try again and again with any disappointment and a better approach every time.

Every child is different with his/her own skills and areas of interest. The need of the hour is to identify that skill and enhance it with full dedication. A self-analysis report can be prepared in which a student can write down the following points:

1)Goal:  Including long term and short term goals.

2)Areas of Interest: Academic/Non Academic

3)Action Plan: Preparation of the to do list

4)Timings: No of hours dedicated each day to achieve that goal.

5)Measure of the extent to which goal achieved

6)Need of Change in Action Plan:Yes/No

7)ChallengesFaced: (If any)

8)Learning/Outcome

This kind of analysis report will certainly help the students to analysis the major area of concern. Every time a new Goal is to be achieved, a new analysis report can be generated.

Parents and Teachers play a very important role in this journey. For the betterment of the child, a positive learning environment with lots of motivation and support is required where he can express himself and have the freedom to learn, unlearn and relearn.
